It is now one week since we celebrated Gillian’s 18th Birthday. It is quite a thing to think that our eldest granddaughter is now an adult! We had a family meal together at our home. Sadly, Gillian’s parents Craig & Milena were not able to be here, but Craig sent his daughter an enormous and beautiful flower arrangement, a video message and a phone call, where she was able to speak to her family including her sister Tegan. So Gillian was in no doubt that she was loved and remembered by her family in Bulgaria.
Gilly is spending her gap year living with us and working for a local IT company. It is a joy to get to know her as a young adult and benefit from her zest for life!
She is working on her application for university next year, and now that she has received her first pay check has joined the local gym and is working out regularly.
